Letter: Long cares about you

Last week the House passed another coronavirus relief package. It would provide another round of $600-a-week jobless benefits and direct-payment stimulus checks, and authorize billions in assistance for state and local governments, schools, restaurants, small businesses, rental and mortgage assistance, the post office, voting security and coronavirus testing, tracing and vaccine procurement.

Also passed was a nonbinding condemnation (H.Res.1153) of unwanted hysterectomies allegedly being performed on women in ICE detention centers.

All knew that Do-Nothing-McConnell would never allow a Senate vote on these. Still, Jaime Herrera Beutler voted against both.

Vote Carolyn Long. She cares about you.
