Clark County sheriff’s deputies are looking to identify a theft suspect, who was reportedly helped by a passerby and then stole their vehicle.

The sheriff’s office released a photo of a woman suspected of stealing a 65-inch television from the Orchards area Fred Meyer.

As the woman pushed the television down the sidewalk, someone stopped to help her, “thinking she was struggling,” the sheriff’s office said.

The woman accepted the help. Then, she stole the man’s vehicle, with the television inside, and eluded police.

Anyone who can identify the woman should email tanya.johnson@clark.wa.gov.
