PORTLAND — One person was shot late Thursday while gassing up their car in Southeast Portland’s Lents neighborhood, police say.
Portland police said the person — who hasn’t been publicly identified by name, age or gender — was filling up at a Shell gas station at 82nd Avenue and Foster Road when someone in a car fired shots toward them.
A bullet grazed the person’s ankle, police said. They suffered minor injuries and didn’t need to go to a hospital.
Bullets also hit the person’s car and one of the gas pumps. Police said the shooter was in a car — described as a silver Subaru sedan — driven through the gas station parking lot.
