Letter: Support Long, Little in election

As a highly independent voter, I value pragmatic, thoughtful analysis whether from the left, right, or center. In this, Carolyn Long and Matt Little stand out from the crowd. Little is running as an independent and Long easily could have. Both have made constructive proposals that are maligned by their opposition. I respect both Gary Medvigy and Jaime Herrera Beutler for many decisions they have made, but both have caved in to partisan and economic interest groups, when taking some political risks would have served the community better. Reward courageous independence! Vote for Carolyn Long and Matt Little!
