People’s Community Federal Credit Union announced Monday that it will open a new location at The Waterfront Vancouver in November, replacing its existing downtown Vancouver branch.

The new branch will be at 701 W. Columbia Way, in the RiverWest building, according to a press release from the credit union.

“After nearly 70 years in the Clark County community, we are excited to be expanding into the thrilling and rapidly growing Vancouver Waterfront,” CEO Ed Seidenberg said in a statement. “This will be a full-service branch, with the high quality and friendly experience you’ve come to expect from People’s.”

The local credit union serves about 12,000 members in Clark, Cowlitz and Skamania counties. In addition to the downtown Vancouver location, the credit union operates branches in Battle Ground, Hazel Dell and Fisher’s Landing. A Ridgefield location is planned to open early next year, Seidenberg said.
