Letter: All votes should count

While we as voters in Washington know vote by mail is safe, the argument that it is not and that votes not received by Election Day should be invalid is shaky if one looks at history. Our military has voted absentee, by mail, and their votes were honored when received no matter the date since the Civil War.

Any argument otherwise is from a group “gaming” the voting system.
