A project to repave the Officers Row walkway from Fort Vancouver Way to East Reserve Street will begin Nov. 5.

During construction, the walkway will be closed to pedestrians and bicyclists. Nearby parking lots are expected to remain open.

The project, overseen by the city of Vancouver and contracted through Granite Construction, will also include installation of two new ADA-compliant curb ramps north of Sixth Street at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site maintenance entrance.

The work is scheduled to be completed in two to three weeks, weather permitting.
