I saw in the paper that the nickname Chieftains for Columbia River High School has been deemed offensive and must go. What in the world is our society coming to when someone is offended by everything? Seems to me Chieftain ought to be a sign of respect and honor. Next thing you know PETA will be taking up an offense on behalf of the Lions, Tigers and Bears, oh my!
