A series of nighttime lane closures are planned on Highway 99 in the Salmon Creek area while crews work on repaving, according to a Friday press release from Clark County.

Staring Tuesday, crews will close the through lane from the Interstate 205 southbound offramp to Highway 99 at Northeast 134th street. The lane closure will be in place from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m., with a detour set up to guide traffic around the area.

Once the paving work is complete, there will be daytime single-lane closures in the Highway 99 corridor while crews replace the center medians and perform work on signs and traffic signals. Nighttime single-lane closures will resume later this month for striping work.

All of the work is weather dependent and could be delayed, the county said.
