Letter: Be careful what you ask for

Regarding the letter citing the lack of trees on the waterfront (“Made with no shade,” Our Readers’ Views, Sept. 8): Be careful what you ask for. The way things go in Vancouver, the minute a tree appears near a bench, a parking meter will be placed on the bench.
