The Camas-Washougal Fire Department has lifted its recreational fire ban that has been in place for more than a month.
Moisture and improved smoke conditions prompted the fire department to lift the ban, which had been in effect for Camas and Washougal since Aug. 14.
The order was put in place Wednesday afternoon.
