Letter: Protect environment, vote for Biden

Smoke-filled skies have brought the climate change crisis home to us. Daily we hear about wildfires, melting glaciers, intense hurricanes, and the decimation of biodiverse habitat. President Donald Trump’s answer to all this is to withdraw from the Paris Climate Change Agreement, ramp up fossil fuel production, and roll back 84 environmental regulations. He has said repeatedly that he does not believe in climate change.

Joe Biden says that climate change is “the greatest threat to our security,” recognizing the connection between our economy and our environment.

In November, vote to preserve this beautiful world by voting for Joe Biden. We cannot afford four more years of environmental destruction.
