Clark County reported 30 new COVID-19 cases and no new deaths Thursday, according to Clark County Public Health.

The new COVID-19 cases push the county’s total number to 19,447, according to Public Health data. There have been an average of about 40 new cases a day since Friday, up from last week’s average of about 37 cases a day.

With no new deaths reported Thursday, the total number of deaths from COVID-19 remains at 242 in Clark County. The last death was added to the county’s total Monday. Deaths are added to the tally 10 to 12 days after they occur, according to Public Health.

There were 269 active cases still in their isolation period on Thursday, according to Public Health data. A much lower number reported Wednesday was the result of a calculation error.

There were 17 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Clark County on Thursday, down from 19 on Wednesday, and four people awaiting test results, down from five Wednesday.

Vaccination data showed 152,934 doses of vaccine have been administered in Clark County as of Monday, not counting vaccine allocated by the federal government through the retail pharmacy program.

As of Monday, 114,082 Clark County residents had received at least one dose of vaccine and 62,447 residents were fully vaccinated, according to Public Health.
