PORTLAND — Northwest Natural Holding Company on Thursday reported a loss of $724,000 in its second quarter.
The Portland, Oregon-based company said it had a loss of 2 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 13 cents per share.
The natural gas distributor posted revenue of $148.9 million in the period.
Northwest Natural expects full-year earnings to be $2.40 to $2.60 per share.
Northwest Natural shares have increased 17% since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed slightly in the last 12 months.
