I am so disappointed in the Biden administration in how it has handled Afghanistan. There appears to have been no real plan such as helping the translators and their families get to Kabul to get out of their country. They are surprised that the Taliban has made such strides in such a short time. Really? There’s no reason that we can’t leave a small presence there in the same way we’ve been doing. This kept the country in reasonable peace.

This isn’t just a humanitarian issue, but a defense of the U.S. issue. This leaves a country emptied of our presence and vulnerable to the rebirth of our enemies. It looks like Biden has been champing at the bit for years to pull out, and in his passion, he neglected the significant details that we needed to look at.

I know the focus now is on the horrific problems here at home, but we also need to be aware of the world surrounding us, how we are looked at by other countries, can we be trusted, etc. I voted for Biden and would certainly do so again, but I am disgusted by the incompetency in dealing with Afghanistan.
