Travelers who use southbound Interstate 5 through Woodland should plan ahead for lengthy delays and lane closures this weekend in north Clark County due to pavement rehabilitation work.

From Friday through Sunday, significant congestion is expected in the afternoons and evenings during lane closures for a nearly 2-mile stretch of southbound I-5 between the East Fork Lewis River and North Fork Lewis River.

Single lane closures will remain in place around the clock throughout the weekend, with nighttime double lane closures from 9:30 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday; from 8:30 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday; and from 9:30 p.m. Sunday until 5:15 a.m. Monday.

Real-time roadway and weather information is available 24/7 via the Washington State Department of Transportation mobile app or by following the Southwest Region Twitter account.
