Letter: Pandemic slows initiative process

Jim Camden’s analysis (“Initiative fever cools in state,” Aug. 18) either deliberately or inadvertently fails to mention what has to be a major factor in the decline. Do you suppose that the pandemic conditions might have had an impact on signature-gathering activities?
