  • 4616 N.W. Franklin St. and the surrounding block: Ten homes are decked out for the holidays, with a 60-foot lighted cedar tree, a life-sized Nativity scene and 15-foot tall snowman. Snowfall the week leading up to Christmas will take place nightly at 7:30. Santa Claus will also make appearances with his elves to hand out candy canes on various evenings. • 18001 N.E. 27th St., Vancouver: Pamela and Robert Smith have created a light display at their home for 20 years.
  • 4714 N.E. 43rd St. in Vancouver: When you drive by the Roussels’ home, tune your radio to 98.5 FM to enjoy the lights set to music.
  • 6523 N.E. 52nd St., Vancouver: Marci Ashcraft said her family’s home has been “that house” for Christmas lights in their neighborhood for almost 20 years. Snowmen, deer and a moose surround a big, blue tree. “Make sure to roll down your window to hear some holiday tunes as well,” Ashcraft said.

Seventh St., Vancouver: Brant Buchanan and his father, Brad Buchanan, strung 100,000 lights for their display, which also includes a suspended sleigh with nine reindeer, a 35-foot candy cane on the roof, a full nativity scene and a 20-foot lighted tree. The display is lit from 4:30 to 10 p.m. daily. The Buchanans accept donations for Shriners Children’s.
  • 11001 N.E. 11th Ave., Vancouver: Rick and Renee Amies’ display includes a 19-foot Santa Claus.
  • 15800 N.E. 96th St., Vancouver: Daryl Travis said his home includes an animated Christmas light display set to music ranging from Elvis’s Blue Christmas to Techno Merry Christmas.  The display is on 5-10 p.m. daily until Jan. 2.
  • 2020 S.E. 132nd Court, Vancouver: Tyler and Justine King combine icicle lights, bright snowflakes and snowmen in their display.
  • 4155 N.W. Sierra Dr., Camas: Tracy and Paul Maguire’s house is covered with lights, and features several dozen painted metal holiday characters, including Santa in his toy-packed sleigh. The display is lit from 4:30 to 10 p.m. daily into January.
