BRUSH PRAIRIE — After four years of fundraising, the Silver Buckle Youth Equestrian Center was able to replace its 1964 Ford tractor with a new one that they have named Hugo, after the “first large donor who asked to be anonymous.” The nonprofit used the old Ford as its “big tractor” for arena grooming and bigger jobs, but it eventually started to give out, forcing them to make do with a smaller tractor. “Thanks to all the community support and a very generous ‘topping off’ donation from Janna Brown, our brand new tractor arrived today,” said Silver Buckle Ranch President Peggy Neikirk. “Thank you so very much to all that support the ranch and what we do. We couldn’t have reached this goal without the support we receive from the community. Welcome to the Silver Buckle, Hugo!” Learn more about the ranch at www.silverbuckleranch.org.
