Letter: Herrera Beutler on wrong side

By Barbara York Baker, Vancouver

It is now clear that Jaime Herrera Beutler’s very brief dalliance with the right side of history was a dull flash in a very small pan.

Now with her support for Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, Ms. Herrera Beutler shows her true colors and manufactures a world where tit-for-tat offing of committee assignments would commence if she voted against Ms. Greene.

I for one would certainly hope if any Democrat ever chose a proud depiction of themselves wielding an assault weapon at colleagues that the same punishment would come.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
