Letter: Take pride in where we live

I don’t know about others, but I am sick of listening about politics and COVID-19. I have lived in Clark County for over 65 years. I don’t plan on leaving but I am so ashamed of the way my county looks. As I travel up I-5 from Camas to Salmon Creek and from Camas west on Highway 14 it is downright filthy.

I get it that there are people that just don’t care and throw garbage out. I understand that the wind blows things around. My question is why isn’t it getting picked up? The curb appeal coming into Washington is deplorable. Let’s start taking some pride in where we live and get work crews out there and clean our own house up.
