PORTLAND — Police responded to reports of a shooting in Northeast Portland on Thursday night and “multiple” people were injured, according to media reports.
KOIN News reported that the shooting happened in the 1800 block of Northeast 66th Avenue near Northeast Broadway around 9 p.m.
The area is residential with a large apartment complex spanning several blocks.
Officials had not publicly released any information about the incident as of 6 a.m. Friday including how many people were shot, the extent of their injuries or whether anyone had been arrested.
The police bureau did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
