A Bremerton man was killed Dec. 27 while participating in an off-road motorcycle race at the Woodland Motocross Park.
Cowlitz County sheriff’s deputies and Cowlitz County Fire District 1 responded at about 11:30 a.m. to the 3200 block of Lewis River Road.
Gregory Friedel, 58, was struck by another rider while getting up from the track after a preceding collision. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
