Clark County reports 106 new COVID-19 cases, no new deaths, on Thursday

Clark County recorded 106 new COVID-19 cases but no new deaths on Thursday, according to Clark County Public Health.

The new cases lift the county’s total number of COVID-19 cases to 15,223. There has been an average of 145 new cases a day since Friday, down from the the previous week’s average of about 180 new cases per day, according to Public Health data.

The number of deaths from COVID-19 held steady at 160 to date, according to Public Health data. Six deaths were reported on Wednesday.

The number of active cases still dipped slightly to 1,025, according to Public Health data. Active cases are people diagnosed with COVID-19 who are still in their isolation period and considered contagious.

Hospitalizations fell slightly to 73 people with COVID-19, down from 77 the day before, and the number of people hospitalized awaiting test results rose to five, up from four on Wednesday, according to Public Health data.
