Letter: Kraft’s rhetoric is dangerous

Re “Kraft: I reject electoral results” (The Columbian, Jan. 10): It is unfortunate that we don’t have some type of “litmus test” to weed out delusional thinking before someone can take office. Vicki Kraft had (has?) the same problem last summer when she appeared at a state Capitol gathering without a mask and essentially disregarded the current science on COVID-19. I feel this type of rhetoric is dangerous and only serves to continue the division we are experiencing. It seems to me that a state representative should strive to speak for all of us, not just the fringe. I didn’t like it when Donald Trump was elected in 2016 but we didn’t attempt to overturn the election. Why is this group (mob) dead set on this strategy? Poor losers, to say the least, and people are losing their lives because of it.
