Letter: Prosecute for illegal acts

I agree that what happened at our nation’s Capitol was horrible. Hopefully, all will be arrested and prosecuted.

In that regard, all the damage done last year and that continues into this year went beyond peaceful protesting. To my knowledge no one is being prosecuted for all their unlawful deeds. If you break the law, you should have to pay for that. Period! Not just in Portland, but throughout the U.S.
