Marshall Awards accepting nominations

Nominations are open through Feb. 25 for the General George C. Marshall Leadership Awards, which honors Clark County residents for their commitment to public service and leadership.

Adult nominees must be 35 years of age or younger, a college graduate, have demonstrated leadership ability and are committed to public service.

Youth nominees must be high school seniors and committed to public service. They must have demonstrated leadership ability and served as a role model by motivating others to become involved.

Nomination forms can be accessed online at www.thehistorictrust.org/calendar/2021-marshall-awards/.

The award ceremony will be held virtually at 7 p.m. April 27.

The ceremony will feature all 2021 candidates and keynote speaker Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Keith W. Dayton, the director of the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany.
