Clark County reported four new deaths from COVID-19 over the weekend but a reduced number of new cases, according to data from Clark County Public Health.
Public Health said the fatalities were a man in his 40s, a man in his 70s, a man age 80 or older and a woman age 80 or older, all with underlying health conditions.
Their deaths bring the total number of fatalities from COVID-19 to 170, according to Public Health data. Six deaths were reported in each of the three previous weeks.

Public Health reported 305 new cases since Friday, bringing the county’s total number of COVID-19 cases to 16,502 to date. The three-day total announced Monday worked out to an average of about 102 new cases a day, continuing a downward trend from a peak of about 180 new cases a day in the first week of January.
Hospitalizations flat
The number of active and potentially contagious cases fell to 709 on Monday, down from 813 on Friday.
The number of hospitalizations was mostly flat, with 55 people hospitalized with COVID-19, up from 53 on Friday, and five people hospitalized awaiting test results, down from six on Friday.
