VANCOUVER — The members of the Richard L. Quartier Southwest Washington Chapter 321 of the Korean War Veterans Association have so far raised $109,140 for a Wall of Remembrance, a Washington, D.C., memorial that would contain the names of the 36,574 Americans who gave their lives during the conflict. Recent cash donations for the cause came from: David and Patricia Nierenberg, $19,000; The Keller Foundation, $3,000; Michael and Monica Lynch, $2,500; Dean Kirkland Development, $2,500; John and Michelle Rudy, $1,000; Steven and Jan Oliva, $1,000; and Royce Pollard Trust, $1,000. “Chapter 321 can’t thank all who shared their time and money to make this happen,” a news release said. Construction is set to begin this year with a completion date of July 27, 2022.
