Thank you for the recent endorsement of Mayor Anne McEnerny-Ogle for a second term. She embodies the qualities that I feel are important: integrity, hard work, long hours and possibly the hardest part of the job, knowledge of the issues. She does her homework.
She is not afraid of the hard choices needed to make sound decisions, knowing she will not please everyone. Yet, while she is governing in the here and now, she also is planning for the city and surrounding areas going forward. Ideally, she is setting the stage for Vancouver’s future. And our future is bright thanks to the mayor and her staff.
