Teen dies, three hurt in two-car crash Tuesday in southeast Battle Ground

A 17-year-old boy died and three others were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday in southeast Battle Ground, according to the Battle Ground Police Department.

The crash was reported at about 4:50 p.m. at the intersection of Southeast Eaton Boulevard and Southeast 23rd Avenue, a police department bulletin said. 

The teen died at the scene. A man and two children were transported to hospitals with injuries not believed to be life-threatening, the bulletin said.

The names of those involved have not been released, but immediate families have been notified, the bulletin said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the collision to contact a Battle Ground Police Officer by calling 311, the bulletin said.
