Letter: Protect yourself, don’t complain

I have gotten the vaccine. I do wear a mask. My children have gotten the vaccine. My children wear a mask. I do not care if you don’t get the shot or wear a mask. But don’t complain to me if you can’t go to a store or a restaurant or visit friends because they require a mask or the vaccine. You don’t want the vaccine or wear a mask, that’s OK, I just won’t associate with you.

At the same time, because I chose to get the vaccine or wear a mask, don’t harass me because of my choices. Also, don’t expect sympathy from me when you get sick or worse. I am not going to waste my time on individuals that won’t protect themselves.

Have a nice life, as long as you don’t get sick.
