Letter: County chair is irresponsible

The Clark County Council chair is, once again, providing misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines by calling them “experimental.” She continues to be quite obtuse in her approach to managing our county. She used hearsay about vaccines for members of sports teams, believing the kids might sneak around to get the vaccine, clearly not understanding that participation in sports requires a parental signature. Show us the 12- to 15-year-old kids who play sports, go on field trips, or youth group outings without parental permission.

It would be nice if our Essentially Quite Obtuse chair and her two Obtusetts would do things for the entire county instead of catering to the continued misinformation from proponents of the Big Lie. Then again, when was the last time we saw responsible Republican leadership in this county want to lead instead of being a roadblock?
