Vancouver man accused of shooting acquaintance in leg appears in court

Men know each other through former girlfriend

A Vancouver man who allegedly shot an acquaintance in the leg Tuesday told police he fired at the man after being mooned.

Miguel Angel Pedro-Guzman, 29, appeared Thursday in Clark County Superior Court on suspicion of first-degree assault.

Judge Daniel Stahnke set Pedro-Guzman’s bail at $500,000. He is scheduled to be arraigned June 24, court records show.
