The TV headlines read that the Republican Party trades dignity and democracy for a spot in Trump’s Party. Well, let’s just look at what Trump’s party consists of: QAnon fanatics who believe former presidents and the Democratic Party are selling children out of New York pizza parlors, Oath Keepers and Proud Boys (two major white supremacist groups and participants in the Jan. 6 raid), and millions of Fox News fanatics who believe every lie Trump ever told.
Trump is following the same rule Hitler did in Germany: tell a big enough lie long enough, everyone will believe it. Hitler shouted that the Jewish and Romani people were stealing all of Germany’s money. Trump is proclaiming the minority races and Democrats stole his election, when in truth everyone knew he was the worst president we ever had, and his campaign consisted of degrading everyone he didn’t like. You can’t win an election doing that. Sorry Trump; you are a loser by a landslide.
