Firefighters quell Hazel Dell house fire

Firefighters quickly extinguished a blaze Tuesday afternoon at a house in Hazel Dell.

Clark County Fire District 6 was dispatched at 3:46 p.m. to 2200 N.E. 110th St., emergency dispatch records show.

Upon arrival, firefighters reported seeing smoke coming from the eaves and said there was a working attic fire, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.

Crews said the fire was possibly in the garage and requested another unit to cut open the garage door, according to radio traffic.

The fire was declared out shortly after 4 p.m.
