CLARK COUNTY — Cascadia Technical Academy criminal justice students took first place in a Mock Trial District Tournament that was held recently via Zoom and qualified to compete in a state-level tournament this month. “In addition to our attorney coaches, Kevin McClure and Curtis Welch, we depend heavily on our returning seniors to help teach the incoming students all the lessons that have been passed down from the previous years,” said program instructor Tony Shaver. “We are very proud of our students.” Rankings were as follows: Cascadia Technical Academy, first place; Henry M. Jackson School, Seattle, second place; Cedar Tree Classical Christian School Team 1, third place; Hockinson High School, fourth place; Columbia River High School, fifth place; Seton Catholic High School, sixth place; Camas High School Team 2, seventh place; Sammamish High School, eighth place; Camas High School Team 1, ninth place; Cedar Tree Classical Christian School Team 2, 10th place; and Morton High School, 11th place.
