Amtrak announced Wednesday that it will fully restore daily service on 12 long-distance routes including the Empire Builder and Coast Starlight routes, both of which stop in Vancouver.

The routes were cut back last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Coast Starlight and Empire Builder will be in the first wave of restored service, set to begin May 24.
