Letter: Stay vigilant against coronavirus

The outbreak of COVID-19 at Camas High School after a Friday night party should be a cautionary tale to everyone. The virus is still out there just waiting for us to let our guard down. People under 65 (with some exceptions) are not protected from illness by vaccination yet. Therefore, we all need to keep our masks on in public places, wash our hands and keep the 6-foot distance.

Young people can become seriously ill or become long-haulers. I continue to practice the precautions for everyone’s family members from newborns to 64.

Please Clark County keep up the good work! We will get through this together.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
