Letter: Herrera Beutler shows maturity

When I was younger, sometimes a classmate would do something wrong. Another classmate would report it. Because kids are immature, the blame usually fell on the snitch. The person was ridiculed and pestered for some time after. The improper action of the other person was never acknowledged, no matter how bad it was. Adults, of course, would act against the wrongdoer, but the kids stood up for their own.

Does this sound kind of like the Clark County Republican Party and U.S. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler? Currently, the party is that group of kids and Beutler is the adult. Do we all want to go back to grade school?
