VANCOUVER – Real estate brokers, staff and owners with Windermere Stellar donated $153,500 to various charities in Vancouver that support low-income children and families. The funds were donated to provide food assistance in the Fruit Valley area, to the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington, Children’s Justice Center, and Meals on Wheels, among others.

“Last year, Windermere approached long-standing traditions differently, enabling our agents to address the specific needs of our communities immediately during a crisis,” said Scott Mitchelson, president of Windermere Services Co. in Oregon and Southwest Washington. The real estate company also hosted a virtual fundraiser to help SafeChoice and Share purchase winter necessities. Its Fruit Valley donation led to the organization receiving a Community Champion Award from the Foundation for Vancouver Public Schools.
