Letter: Pick up after yourself

By Jill Toma, Vancouver
Published: March 28, 2021, 6:00am

I keep reading about how the city or county should clean up all of the garbage along the roads. No, people need to stop being such pigs and stop throwing garbage out of their car windows.

I keep a garbage bag in my car and empty it when I get home. We never had this kind of mess until a few years ago. I have always been so impressed by how clean it was here, but now it looks like a dump wherever you go.

Why should money be spent to clean up after other people?

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
