One person was killed in a shooting at a Northeast Portland convenience store early Wednesday morning, police said.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1900 block of North Lombard Street around 4:30 a.m., officials said in a statement.
Police found a man at the scene who had been shot while shopping at a convenience store. Paramedics attempted to help the victim, but he died after being taken to a nearby hospital.
Investigators did not say whether any arrests had been made nor did they release any information about a suspect or suspects.
