Maggie Lyons of Camas slowpitch softball is the Week 4 prep athlete of the week

Maggie Lyons of Camas slowpitch softball is the Northwest Personal Training Week 4 high school athlete of the week.

Lyons received 292 votes to beat out Amanda Harper of Mountain View volleyball.

Lyons went 6 for 9 with three doubles, a home run and 11 RBI in three games for the Papermakers.

Winners of the athlete-of-the-week may not be nominated again during the regular season, and no athlete may be nominated in consecutive weeks.

Here are the nominees:

JOSEPH BLANSHAN, LA CENTER BOYS CROSS COUNTRY: Blanshan won a five-team Trico League meet at Castle Rock in 15:31, then placed 22nd in the Division I race at the Curtis Invitational.

ANDIE BUCKLEY, COLUMBIA RIVER GIRLS SOCCER: Buckley had seven assists in three league wins for the Rapids.

AMANDA HARPER, MOUNTAIN VIEW VOLLEYBALL: Harper had 18 digs in a match against Union, then added 33 digs in a win over Heritage.

JEAN LIN, UNION GIRLS SWIMMING: Lin won the 200 individual medley, 100 butterfly and helped the Titans win the 200 free relay in a meet at the Clark County YMCA.
