Clark County residents may apply for rental assistance

Applications accepted beginning Monday

Clark County’s rental assistance programs, which help low-income residents impacted by the pandemic, will accept applications for 800 households to receive assistance, including arrears, starting at 9 a.m. Monday.

Links will not be live until Oct. 18.

Applicants without access to internet can call 360-695-9677. Applicants without phone or internet access can access applications through Share’s offices at the Fromhold Center, 2306 N.E. Andresen Road.

Clark County continues to work with rental assistance providers to open additional assistance spots. Additional spots are scheduled to open at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 3 and Wednesday, Nov. 17.

Tenants seeking information about their rights should contact the Clark County Volunteer Lawyers Program at 360-334-4007 or NW Justice Project’s CLEAR program at nwjustice.org/get-legal-help or 888-201-1014 between 9:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Youth under 24 may contact the Legal Counsel for Youth and Children at 206-494-0323, ext. 715.
