Letter: Invest in Battle Ground schools

By William Baur, Battle Ground

Please vote yes on the four-year replacement levy for Battle Ground Public Schools on Nov. 2. My job as a teacher will be at risk if the levy fails again. My family of four depends on my income as a teacher so my wife can stay at home with our two young children. My son will attend kindergarten in Battle Ground schools next year and his sister will soon follow. Pass the levy so they can have smaller class sizes, elective options like art and music, and learn from experienced teachers with updated curriculum. Our children’s education is worth your investment.
