Letter: Letter writer is the problem

By Alan J. Granat, Washougal

The problem with letter writers like Roy Schimelpfenig is that they know just enough about writing that the undereducated can easily latch on to the letter’s content no matter how off the wall it is.

We are not, and should never be, a Christian nation. Your Bible is not part of our Constitution. Killing people is almost never OK. Deporting people is almost never OK.

Actually, you, Mr. Schimelpfenig, are the greatest problem we face, and I believe the federal government when they say domestic terrorism is our greatest threat right now.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
