Applicants sought for Clark County Development and Engineering Advisory Board

Clark County is looking to fill three vacancies on the Clark County Development and Engineering Advisory Board. The positions are open to professionals associated with land development, private-sector development engineering, and construction contracting.

Terms for all three positions are three years, beginning Jan. 1 and ending Dec. 31, 2024.

The advisory board reviews policy and county code changes and works on process improvements and fees with the county’s Community Development, Community Planning and Public Works departments.

The advisory board has 11 members: three private-sector planners or engineers; one construction contractor; one public-sector planner or engineer; one land developer; one Building Industry Association representative; one Southwest Washington Contractors’ Association representative; one professional associated with commercial or industrial development; and two other professionals associated with development.

Those interested should send a letter of interest and resume to Michelle Pfenning, Councilors’ Office, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666-5000. Applications also can be emailed to michelle.pfenning@clark.wa.gov.

The application deadline is 5 p.m., Nov. 23.
