Skyview football got what it wanted from its regular-season finale on Friday at Kiggins Bowl.
The Storm earned a win, though that was never in doubt. Skyview cruised past an overmatched opponent, beating Adrienne Nelson, a new school in Happy Valley, Ore., 58-0.
The Storm also paid tribute to 18 seniors before finishing the regular season 7-2.
But, more importantly, Skyview used Friday as a tuneup for a Week 10 playoff game. The Storm clinched the 4A Greater St. Helen’s League second postseason berth by virtue of Camas beating Union on Friday.
“We just wanted to get better as a unit and exceed our expectation for today,” Skyview quarterback Niko Arriola said.
