Speed of Texas abortion case has few Supreme Court precedents

Justices to hear arguments Monday about law that bans procedure after six weeks of pregnancy

WASHINGTON — In only a handful of cases has the Supreme Court, where decorative turtles symbolize the deliberate pace of justice, moved as quickly as it is in the fight over the Texas law that bans most abortions. They include some of the most famous disputes of the last 50 years.
